Shell Club

Shell Club is a kids' club for children of primary school age where we tell about Jesus in fun and interesting ways. Our programme varies from night to night and includes music and singing, bible stories, memory verses, quizzes, crafts, videos, games and having fun!.

We meet every Wednesday night at 7pm for approximately 1 hour upstairs in the new church and love to welcome new friends so why not come along and join the gang!

Ivan Barr is the leader in charge, and can be contacted on (028) 9260 2193.

So, why is it called the 'Shell Club'?

Well, historically the shell has been a long-standing symbol for a pilgrimage to the Spanish coast, Santiago de Compostela and it is also to be found on the John Wesley family crest.

A version of this then came to represent Methodism itself, before the 'orb' became the recognised symbol roughly 20 years ago - the shells have carried on since though, if only in name !
