On 6th May 2006 we held another annual Ladies Breakfast in Trinity. Over the past years, we have enjoyed the 'culinary skills' of some of the more domesticated men in the church!
Both last year and this year however we have benefited from the impressive cooking of our professional chef, Steven Pollock. Steven, along with a team of 5 other men from the congregation served us up a wonderful cooked breakfast allowing the ladies to relax, sit- back and enjoy chatting together.
Each year we invite a speaker along to our Ladies Breakfast. This year we were delighted to have with us Indhu Naidu from South India. Indhu is over studying at Belfast Bible College for one year and will graduate in June before returning to lndia. She runs a college where she lives called Kingdom Business Ministries and we were pleased to give a generous donation to her work, from the proceeds of the breakfast.
Indhu wanted to bring us a word of encouragement and challenge from the Lord. She spoke of Zechariah who had a two-fold service of prayer and participation in God's work and emphasised the importance of being 'plugged in and plumbed in' in order to see God's power manifested.
All the ladies enjoyed the food and fellowship and the inspiring word brought to us by Indhu.
Our Ladies Breakfast 2006 was a great success and we look forward with anticipation to 2007.
